Mo and Kyle were nice, but I was disappointed with how they handled my furniture. They seemed rushed and threw stuff around, which left scuffs on some of my furniture. Considering their hourly rate is higher than other companies I was quoted, I expected more attention to detail.
We booked this company to move us from our home of 27 years ( yes, lots and lots of boxes ) to our new home, in another city. We were lucky enough to be booked with Kyle and Mohammad along with Justin and Kyle from Durham. We needed 4 men and 2 trucks. All the movers were very personable and went out of their way to introduce themselves to me after they had met my husband and son. Our moving day might have been one of the hottest days of the summer and this moving crew worked continually. I had to insist they take frequent water breaks. They took very good care of all of our items and even picked up and gave to me, from the floor of the moving truck, one of the smallest post it notes, that had a phone number on it. We have already recommended this company to a friend and will continue to recommend them.
I recently hired the Company for a short notice move. While I am appreciative of their ability to accommodate our move, I have to say that the overall service was atrocious. Our movers (Kyle & Mohammed) were late, which I was contacted about by one of the owners. No big deal; things happen. We were already under quite a bit of stress because of timings that we had to meet. Instead of making things easier, we had to listen to constant complaining, rough handling of boxes marked fragile, and also clean up after our movers, who tracked mud across clean floors and new carpeting. The move was completed in a timely fashion, so that was definitely a plus. However, a few days later when I had a chance to visit the storage space with my wife, we were appalled to find that our belongings were tossed into the storage space, without any rhyme or reason. When I reached out to one of the owners (Kyle) to advise of our findings, I was basically ghosted. I will never utilize this Company's services again.
I hired Two Small Men with Big Hearts and I am so glad I did! They were quick to respond via phone and email (so important!). They completed a virtual walk-thru of my condo so I could be given a detailed estimate. The team who came to pack and move (Kyle & Muhammad) were professional, hard working, and polite. All my items were transported safely and arranged wherever I asked. It was a very good experience. I would hire them again.
It's difficult navigating anything during a pandemic but try moving a music library from one rehearsal space to another. Thanks to Two Small Men with Big Hearts Moving our choral group was able to tackle this with a minimum of effort. From our first contact with Andrew fielding all the questions and quotes to our scheduled moving date, all was handled very professionally, questions answered quickly and schedules finalized to accommodate our group's needs. BEN, DEVON and MIKE were an awesome team and made quick work of loading, transporting and unloading 50 years of accumulated music and archived memories with care, respect and with great humour and attitude!
