Run away!! This company charged me $3000 per window and after a company tested the U values, it showed that my brand new windows needed to be upgraded and were as equivalent to a single pane windows. They refused to leave stickers on the window and to show me the actual specs on the windows I purchased. They also out the wrong window in the wrong opening and then charged me extra for it. They failed to seal the windows upon installation. I paid extra for the framing $1200 per window yet they used the cheapest possible framing material to frame it in just plain white stock, which didn’t match my current windows. They charged me $3600 for a window with an awning that opens over a walkway!! So now I can’t use the walkway when this window is open and then a slider for the kitchen so no one can reach the window to open it when reaching over the countertop. They are charging me 12% interest when they said it was interest free payments. Half the windows were put in upside down. Despite the windows being professionally tested as not being energy efficient or having a coating or even energy star rated, they won’t warranty the windows or give me the stickers for them so I can claim the rebate. They actually said when I install my next set of windows…we can upgrade them??? Stay away from this company total rip off!!! They also left my plumbing for my laundry sink hanging off the wall when they installed the kitchen window which I can’t reach to open anyway, cause they install the wrong one!!. This company has cost me $14,000+ and I only upgraded 7 windows most of which don’t even open!! Total waste of money. They didn’t even frame it in all the way for the window they charged me extra that opens onto a walkway!!
Just had windows in the whole house replaced…impressed with the service starting with first contact, Jeremy Ross, the remeasure guy, David and the installers headed by team leader Aaron P, with Scott E, Ian Y and Jared D. They did the job in only two days! Efficient, professional, with a eye to detail but we had fun with their bantering. Hard workers plus they cleaned up before they left. We are very pleased.
This is the second house that Centra has installed windows for us. We had amazing customer support from Derek D. and the installers were very professional - Thanks to Ryan, Jared, Koby and Kevin. we've already noticed how much warmer the house is and no more condensation! Would definitely recommend Centra.
One of the best contractors we've ever dealt with. Promises made were promises kept. Our crew of Koby, Jared, and Ryan were superb with our installation of 7 custom windows. Cleaned up like they were never there. We've noticed a difference in both heat load and noise on day one. Great product. Highly recommended. Home Depot finance program was also a great bonus.
A big shout out to Centra Windows (Nanaimo) I had new windows installed last week at my house. The installers who came were very friendly and professional and helpful. They did a great job and made sure they cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. I was very impressed. The windows look amazing, feels like a new house.....Rave to Jeremy who was my first contact at Centra and he came to my house and did a quote. He always got back to me right away, (even when he was on holiday)...the crew who came to my house were Koby A, Jared D & Ryan G. I would highly recommend them....great job guys!!!
