My family and I moved with 2 Burley Men for the 2nd time. This time was from Vancouver to Edmonton. Steve & Mike did an amazing job with the pick up in Vancouver. Jesse and Jim delivered in Edmonton and they did an amazing job as well. Highly recommend 2 Burley Men for long haul move as long as you are flexible with a delivery window but they will try their best to meet your schedule.
Terrible. Don't bother and stay away. We had so many issues with our move, where do I begin? -Did not have enough crew to move us, even though we were descript with our contents. Had to call up some random help who were younger and pretty sketch. They even asked our teenager to help for a few bucks under the table. - our total bill was much higher than the original quote - a lot of damage to our furniture including somehow nicks and scratches over brand new wrapped bedrm suite we had purchased and left in storage for the move -missing items. Like a lot of our possessions missing and unaccounted for as we notice over time - upon leaving the housing complex the truck driver ran over neighbors lawn, causing damage and reporting the incident to strata -assured us they would fill our own full truck (during pandemic) and would not be loaded w others. When they pulled up to load they took time to move the contents of another family to squeeze our stuff in (not gently either- hopping on cabinets shelving units etc) - ould not get their truck through our new home driveway. We had to use our gas in our truck and our time to help haul/shuttle contents 30 meters away from their truck, which we were assured in advance that it would make it to the new garage -unloaded our contents several times during the trip on the way to the new home and loaded other families contents (we were assured of the opposite) - didn't wrap furniture as promised so we haphazardly needed to scrounge for blankes, sheets etc to save our stuff from being permanently ruined Super disappointed. Some of the movers were nice lovely hardworking folks, but this move was a gong show, and it didn't need to be. They offered me a measly hundred and some bucks for all the damage and missing stuff which is frankly pretty poor service. So many options, look elsewhere--I recommend against using this company in the Fraser Valley.
Jesse and Jim were awesome to work with. They were respectful and kind and were able to load quickly and arrived at our destination early. Were able to unload in 2 hours with nothing damaged or broken. I would definitely recommend this moving company.
I can not rave about this company enough. Booking was easy! My two movers were Kevin K and Mike V and honestly, these two are the absolute best in the business. Moving is super stressful and I was completely overwhelmed but the moment these guys showed up, they took care of everything! The whole process was smooth, stress free and actually fun! They are easy to chat with, professional, strong and efficient as hell!!!! Next move I have, these two will be who I hire without a doubt. Couldn’t be happier and truly believe I can’t recommend anyone better! Thanks guys!!!
We were estimated approximately 1500. 00 for the move and were given a bill for 4500.00 at the end of the evening. The move realistically did not start until 3 hours after they showed up, which was late and short manned to begin with. They showed up to the new house with the truck not even full and began unpacking and going through the newly renovated house without any flooring protection as they had left it at the old house. We then went back to the house the next morning to complete our move on our own only to find a desk that had been wrapped up and lying on its back with a broken gable piece which now renders the desk unusable. Nobody said anything or acknowledged it to us. We will now be starting a claim to try and get restitution for the desk, which is 1200.00 new but am very doubtful we will get anything. Although in the end, we did not pay the 4500.00 as billed, it was a process that was time consuming and stressful on top the stress of dealing with moving.
