*UPDATE FOR REPLY FROM RAINFOREST MOVING* Not sure how you "lost or not recorded" a voicemail or "don't have any record of me calling. I know this isn't in any shape or form truthful since we played phone tag twice on the first day I called. After two consecutive missed calls from both our ends, that's when I decided to leave the voicemail sharing what I discussed with your movers about all the damage that occurred to my property. After I left that voicemail is also when you decided to go radio silent on me and have not contacted me since. I honestly don't understand the WHY behind this all. I get that it ultimately comes down to money for you, but I didn't even ask for anything other than to discuss the damages you made to my property and work with you to finding an agreeable solution. The straight up lie of a reply you made doesn't bring me any confidence that your company will act with any type of ethics. Again, this isn't an opinion. I have the receipts of you clearly knowing I called and you went completely dark after I left a voicemail explaining why I'm calling. That's frankly a terrible look and I would advise anyone reading this to think very carefully about choosing to work with a company that behaves like this. ~~~~~ The only positive aspect of our move with Rainforest was how friendly the movers were, but I think everyone would agree we're not paying for a friendly chat. What we want in a moving company is efficient and professional movers. This simply was not our experience with Rainforest Moving and Storage. I think it’s reasonable to expect SOME minor scrapes to a wall, but what's NOT reasonable is multiple larger scrapes and broken items. Most importantly, avoiding a paying customer for bringing this up after the move. The movers themselves brought up the more egregious damages they made to our home during the move. We appreciated that they took ownership of this at the time, but we didn't know we would simply be ghosted by this company after we attempted to call multiple times as well as leaving a voicemail detailing the issues. Not only is there damage beyond what any person would consider reasonable, they also broke one of my computer monitors during the move which was perfectly functional literally the morning of the move before it was put into a box for transport. A simple message or even a voicemail in reply would have been immensely appreciated. At no point did I lead with any demands or expectations. I simply asked for a call back to discuss the damages done to our home and belongings. It’s been two weeks and I'm getting the picture that there likely isn't any interest to do right by a paying customer. Really disappointed at how this all ended since I had high hopes about this company as I'm sure many of you do based on existing reviews. Hard to recommend a company that treats its customers this way.
I hired Rainforest Moving on recommendation from my cousin & they were awesome! They gave me a call to let me they they were running late (gave me extra time to pack!), were so friendly, helpful and FAST. Dealing with the movers was a breeze. Highly recommend using Rainforest for your next move! Will be inquiring about storage next :)
Top notch service! I got a good feeling from James (the owner) when he came to give an estimate, and I was not disappointed! Dave, Dillon, and another James were incredibly efficient and friendly. My move was done quickly, even with things going from one house to three different places, including some heavy and awkward pieces going into tight spaces. Their bin rental program is great too. I will definitely call Rainforest next time I move.
These guys are the best movers Ive ever seen in action. Worked like a machine. Done a difficult job in under 6 hrs from start to finish. Id reccomend their services without any reservations. 5 stars.
Cannot say enough about the team that helped us move this past weekend - Dave, Thomas & Ford were fantastic! Talk about a hard working crew, they did not stop once - absolute beast mode. Everything was wrapped and protected perfectly prior to moving, transported safely and moved in right where it needed to be. Do not think twice about booking this company - we wouldn't use anyone else. Thank you boys!!
