Contacted these gentlemen based on their proximity to me. I had a simple repair to do, may not have been enough money for them (can't say), however, through contacting them I felt they weren't competent to do thay simple repair, nor were the able to facilitate a proper schedule when requested. When I mentioned I will be on-site to over see the repair, they quickly mentioned that for liability reasons I could not be around..... ummm it's my house, I will be where I want to be .... I am giving two stars instead of one because at least they are responsive. I will ad a photo of our last text convo.... take from it what you will.
Tim had some guys perform a mediocre job replacing flashing on my house at the end of November 2020. I can say that they were on time and friendly and Tim was easy to get in touch with. However, 3 months passed (all Dec, Jan & Feb) and I noticed that the nails on the flashing had lifted at some point in the three months. I called Tim however he was not willing to send his team back to hammer the nails back in and repair their original workmanship without charging me again, stating that there is a 2 month warranty. Looks like my search continues for an honest and reputable company to perform small roof repairs. My advice is to use Toronto-Roofer at your own risk and keep your expectations low.
Toronto-Roofer was amazing in providing personalized service. They were easy to contact and they sent someone over on the same day to give us a quote. The quote was very reasonable and uncomplicated and we paid a fair price for our new roof that was much lower than other quotes we received. The crew that arrived was incredible. They were very hard working, paid a lot of attention to detail and left our front yard, backyard and gutters cleaner than they found them! Each evening this crew would clean up and provided us with their workplan updates. Did I mention that my home has a 12 by 12 pitch? Honestly, this company was the best!! Fast, efficient and cost effective!
