Not handled with care…. All the staff and movers were very kind at first……. However today the owner completely misread the situation and mishandled the concern in the middle of the move, the situation was taken way out of hand and lead to very angry movers being very upset while unloading. It’s so unfortunate, the owner needs to care for the staff and customers. It should not have to be this stressful. It was awful being in such a negative situation over such a minor incident. If the manager / owner seemed sincere and respectful it would not have gotten out of hand. Petty and snide comments were not appreciated. We were on track for a great easy move. I am not confident the staff are treated well here and respected by the owner. It is concerning for the employees especially Ian to become hostile so easily. Doug did his best to remain calm and respectful. I’m sorry that this is the way it went…sour taste left for sure. I wish the driver/mover Ian and the other gentlemen Doug today the best of luck and success. I hope both the movers understand that they got caught in the middle of something that was not their fault. I wish I could have given them their thank you gift before they left in such anger. I am appreciative of the service they did prior to the incident. The lack of care unloading from Ian especially was very evident and disheartening. Things were damaged. Furniture was scratched, lots of extra dust on bins, bins cracked, minor damage however it was preventable if anger was not directed towards the employees by the owner. UPDATE: after things settled I see that they have a prejudice against women. I feel unsafe around them and would never recommend this company after this experience. I have changed my review from 3 stars to 1 star after reading the owners response and the absolutely ridiculous lies about my senior citizen mother and her experience.
We used Macho Movers for our move today from Cambridge to Guelph and we are very happy with the service they provided. They were professional and extremely careful with our belongings. I was amazed at how much they were able to fit into their truck. After having a terrible experience a few years ago with one of their competitors, I am so happy we chose to go with Macho Movers. They made today so easy and stress free. I would definitely use them again for future moves or recommend them to a friend. They were actually recommended to us by a friend.
Macho Movers provided excellent service. From communication leading up to our move (Jill does a great job), to the 4 person team that arrived on moving day ( Eric, Spartacus, Bill, Chris), they were friendly, efficient, careful and hard working. We were pleased with the outcome as Macho really helped reduce the stress associated with a busy day. We highly recommend them and would not hesitant to use them again Doug and Trish

My original post is below. I changed to 1 star because after my move, when I started unpacking and moving furniture, I noticed a lot of damages. I contacted the office and Jill said she asked a manager to contact me. It's been almost 3 weeks and no one has reached out. I've sent photos but since they have been paid, my concern doesn't matter anymore. I'm hoping Brad, the owner, will make this right. ************ I had a last minute move and the Macho Movers made it happen!! It was their busiest times, and they left me feeling like they could handle anything. Brad was so awesome at helping me get set up with the move. Ben and Declan moved everything with confidence, experience, and care. They were great!! Overall, you all made a very stressful move easier.
