I need look no further than Kirsch for all my electrical needs. This is my 2nd or 3rd time engaging their service. My Mother has also had Henry do work for her. This time I had Jon to assemble & install 3 ceiling fans, 2 switch outs (existing light fixture to fan with light; very reasonably priced) & one completely new install which required a permit & follow up electrical inspection. Jon handled all of this while very clearly explaining the quote. Knowing it was higher than I anticipated, he even offered me the option to split the job. I opted for the completion, as it's been hot. A/C isn't practical in a century+ home & I find ceiling fans today to be a very efficient option for cooling in the summer & distributing heat in the winter. He also helped me with 2 minor smoke alarm issues. He was professional, pleasant and worked diligently. It was a much longer day than he'd expected, yet he didn't rush, cleaned up any mess involved, didn't leave until making sure if I had any questions & provided a temporary bill. This was on a Thursday before the long weekend & by Tuesday I had a second copy of my bill paid in full & a copy of the Electrical Inspection Certificate, all taken care of by Suzanne. I highly recommend Kirsch Electric!
An internet search for a local electrician listed Kirsch Electric Contracting among Hamilton's best. I was immediately impressed with their prompt response to my email, phone call, and Henry's visit to our home. He fully understood our desired updates and provided a clear verbal explanation of what could be done and an estimate, followed by a well laid out written copy later that day. A friendly prepared team arrived on our preferred date. Within minutes they reviewed the work required in various rooms and unloaded all the needed supplies. They seamlessly divided up the work and teamed up when necessary with obvious experience and good workmanship. They exuded confidence and friendly interaction with us. By mid afternoon they had completed the work, reviewed everything with us, and cleaned up. This company truly deserves a listing among the city's best. We would highly recommend them and would definitely call them for future work.
Hired Kirsch Electric to install an EV charger in our garage. Henry was extremely thorough and professional, showed me exactly what needed to be done, and was extremely responsive to my questions along the way. The crew the day of was diligent and professional, and did an excellent job. The final price was exactly as quoted. The charger was tested, and ESA inspection was passed without issue. Would highly recommend this company.
We are incredibly happy with our experience. Kirsch is highly professional in all their communications, providing prompt responses, detailed invoicing, and accurate timelines. The technicians were friendly, informative, and thorough in their work. We had our old fuse box replaced with a new electrical panel and had our meter relocated from the basement to the exterior of our house. We also had various safety issues with several electrical components throughout our house that were resolved above and beyond expectations. Kirsch handled all of the coordination with the city/utilities and the ESA approval so they day ran seamlessly and all the work was completed within the expected time frames. We would not hesitate to work with Kirsch again for any future electrical work in our house and would recommended them to anyone in the Hamilton area.
