Their workers were respectful, clean, polite and extremely hard working. Bill managed the project from start to finish and reviewed our expectations prior to commencement of the job. He answered all my questions via phone and text. We are hoping to install a dining room window next spring and will definitely be calling on them again. I got 3 quotes and their prices were very competitive/similar, but ultimately we chose them due to their knowledge and how Bill responded to our questions. I had several questions as this was our first time doing a project like this and were a little nervous, Bill always took the time to answer them in full. Very Happy Customer!!!!!
We had 2 basement windows cutdown to go from a 10" window to a 36" window and they look fantastic. The quote process was quick and simple - Bill did an excellent job explaining the options, how everything would work, and helped us make some decisions on our windows. The installation crew did a really nice job. They were very friendly and left our yard perfectly clean. They also managed to keep all of the concrete dust out of the basement which was pretty impressive. We did the windows primarily for light and its a huge improvement to what the builder put in. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to go to larger basement windows.
I contacted Egress windows about getting a side door entry and 2 cut down enlarged basement windows with covers. (keeping the width of my basement window but cutting the concrete down wards to make the window larger.) I actually found them through Facebook and asked lots of questions. David answered them all! I felt like i was being annoying but I wanted to make sure I was getting a company that knew what they were doing. I had to wait for months for a permit but Egress windows never pushed me, they had lots of patience. They came and gave me a price for the job. a few months later I got the permit, and luckily they had an opening 2 weeks later for the install. They came at 10:00 AM and were done with the whole job by 2:00 PM. They were great with the inspector (they handled the inspection for most of the job) i had to install a vent that was needed due to the loss of heat from adding a new side door. so I had to do the final inspection over the phone with the inspector. I would recommend anyone to hire Egress window experts. they are very professional and have great skill and very detailed about there work. you can see from the photos there work has PRO craftsmanship written all over it!
There is no one else I would recommend, if you are on the fence with choosing between another company or Egress Windows Toronto this is the team to get it done! Egress responded to our initial quote request and provided us with a realistic time line of completion. During the initial quote they explained all the details of the process, a thorough explanation of why and provided several options on how to approach our window replacement. The install crew was just as amazing! They arrived when they said the would (actually 10 minutes earlier), asked where the water hookup was and were done within a few hours. There was not a speck of dust or dirt to clean, they even had their own mats to prevent any dirt or snow coming into the house. Highly recommendable company. We were looking to enlarge 2 basement windows to egress standard. After seeing positive reviews I contacted this company by e-mail on weekend. I was impressed with quick response and an appointment with Nikou was booked immediately. Nikou is very knowledgeable, experienced, friendly and accommodating. The job was booked in 2 weeks. Crew of 3 guys was excellent. They protected inside of the house, each guy did his part without asking, were done in few hours as good team, worked without breaks or smoking or delay. We are very happy with the whole experience and with finished job. Please don't hesitate to give them a chance.
